This presentation explores how award-winning CIO 100 leaders foster innovation across their organization, teams, and profession. Using research insights, I demonstrate how successful tech leaders utilize five "discovery skills"—experimenting, questioning, observing, networking, and associating—while embracing vulnerability, empathy, and courage to create genuine impact rather than pursuing titles.
