My name is Christopher (Chris) R. Caruso and I am an innovation and engagement advisor and mentor.

 

Throughout my career, I have been a recognized global leader in providing innovative solutions to a wide variety of business challenges while also driving employee and customer engagement.  I have led and been a member of teams receiving national and international recognition including the CIO 100 award for information technology innovation and IDG Communication’s Insider Pro and Computerworld “Best Places to Work in IT.  In 2016, I was an honoree of the Computerworld Premier 100 Technology Leaders award.  In 2021, I received the prestigious honor of the CIO Choice award from the Pittsburgh Technology Council and the Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group.  This is a lifetime achievement award in recognition of my contributions to the Information Technology community.

 

I have spoken at several industry events including Premier Connects (Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Philadelphia, and Detroit) and the Pittsburgh Technology Council.  I have also served as a guest lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University.  I hold 5 patents along with other team members in the use of technology to aid customers in color selection and paint purchasing.

 

My most recent has role enabled me to lead a team of more than 1,500 technology professionals providing IT services in over 40 countries across the Americas, Europe and Asia.  During this time, I was intimately involved in the planning and implementation of dozens of acquisitions including both the technology and cultural integration of the new employees.  These diverse experiences have enabled me to hone my skills in employee engagement and process innovation.
